Anthony "Tony" Merelli, 95, born January 24, 1929, to Henry and Mildred Merelli of Denver, CO, passed away on January 1, 2025. He is survived by his loving family: daughter Theresa (Mike) Merelli; son, Tom (Rosie) Merelli; son, Ted Merelli; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lavera Merelli and daughter, Toni Merelli.
Tony was known for his incredible sense of humor and his passion for model railroads and family genealogy.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, January 13th at Mother Cabrini Shrine, 20189 Cabrini Blvd., Golden, CO 80401. He will be laid to rest at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anthony's name to Mother Cabrini Shrine, 20189 Cabrini Blvd., Golden, CO 80401.
