Age 69, of Arvada, died April 13, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Leroy and Shirley Jenkins on January 18, 1944 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She married Sam Hager in 1963 and they would have celebrated their Golden Anniversary on June 1st. She is also survived by her daughter, Yolanda Kerns, her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Mandy Hager, her granddaughters, Elise Kerns and Taylor Hager, her grandson, Tristan Hager and numerous other family members and good friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19th at Olinger Crown Hill ~ Pavilion of Reflection.
In lieu of flowers, Barb asked that donations be made to the West Arvada Dog Park, c/o Vivian Brooks, 12028 W. 85th Drive, Arvada, CO 80005, where she spent many happy hours with her beloved Nanuk and Vincent.
