Barbara Jeanne Hufford

Barbara was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Lamar, Colorado, where her father owned a successful cattle ranch and she developed her love of animals.

Barbara later made her home in Arvada, where she and her husband, Jerry, built a life centered on family. She worked for many years in the family real estate and property management business, Hufford & Co, Inc. Her happiest times were those spent on their camping and waterskiing trips. Barbara was deeply proud of her children and they always knew they had her support in everything in life. Her grandsons were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

She approached life with an unshakable optimism and warmth that touched everyone around her. She brought light and laughter wherever she went, making the world a brighter place just by being in it.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hufford. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Bugielski, and grandsons Charlie and Kuper; and by her son, Doug Hufford, and his wife Barrie, and grandsons Kalin and Dylan.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow immediately after from 3- 4pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033.
