Colorado resident Bernice Bush passed away November 24, 2018. She was born to Reinhard and Alvina in 1930. Bernie grew up in Eastern Nebraska later making her way to Colorado with her husband Lyle Sr. At her request, no service will be held.
Bernie retired from banking and was an enthusiastic Colorado Rockies fan. She enjoyed her residence of 40+ years in the Lakewood area especially gardening, hiking, baking and watching backyard wildlife. Bernie loved to travel, particularly drives to the Southwest US with Lyle Sr. She celebrated her faith at Lutheran Church Of The Master in Lakewood.
Bernie will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by daughter Ginny of Colorado; son Lyle Jr. (Peggy & Ian) of Washington; sister Florence of Nebraska; brother Donald (Mary) of Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bernie was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Sr., her brother Leroy, her sister Marian and her parents.
Memorial donations in memory of Bernie can be made to a local Salvation Army, the Denver Dumb Friends League or your local animal shelter.
