

Bonnie Lou (Armentrout) Betts of Thornton, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, while surrounded by her family. She was known for her kindness and her capacity to give unconditional love. Bonnie was born on November 12, 1949 to Ulmer Senor “Jack” Armentrout and Betty Armentrout in Columbus, Ohio. Her family moved from Columbus to Colorado while Bonnie was attending high school. She graduated in 1968 from Mapleton High School. She met the love of her life, Mark Lewis Betts, and they were soon married. Bonnie and Mark spent 39 of their 41 years together in the same home where they raised their three children. Bonnie is survived by her husband Mark; daughter Cindie Stevens and her husband Randy; step daughter, Nicole Betts and her wife Kris; son, Matthew Betts and his wife Jamie; her grandson, Niko Stevens; brothers, James “Jim” Hogan, Robert “Bob” Armentrout; sister, Marjorie “Margie” Armentrout; step granddaughter, Kaila Paul; two step great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; and life-long friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William “Bill” Armentrout; sisters, Mardella Taylor and Ethel “Jay” Kirby; and grandson, Cal Stevens. A celebration of life will be held on February 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Thornton Senior Center, 11181 Colorado Blvd, Thornton, Colorado with a reception to follow.
