

Bonnie passed on to be in the heavenly realms on Thursday, January 29, 2026. She was 93 years in age.
Bonnie enjoyed a long and productive life, always full of enthusiasm, thrill seeking, and dedication to her community. Bonnie worked for the renowned Coors Brewing Company for a good portion of her days. She was a cheerleader in High School, and a cheerleader in her beloved Golden, Colorado community by involving herself in running races, wellness activities, fundraising, and donating gallons of blood over the years. Bonnie also performed as a registered clown, visiting children’s hospitals, parades, and in homes for the elderly.
Bonnie had two children with her first husband Ray Kroeger (predeceased). She married Lou Burno and enjoyed 37+ years in which they traveled extensively and enjoyed many cruises world-wide.
She is predeceased by both her husband Lou Burno, and her daughter Vicki Holland.
Bonnie is survived by her brother Robert Churches, son Gary Kroeger, son-in-law Richard Holland, daughter Allison Burno, and son Cameron Burno. Also survived by grandchildren Kelly Holland, Linday Singh, Randall Kroeger, Abigail Britanyak, and extended family including grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bonnie grew up in a day and age where life was often tough and she not only chose to be a survivor, but she was certain to make the best of things. We state here a quote from her favorite book, which she often referenced and chose to live by…
