Bonnie was born in Denver, CO Nov. 24, 1927 to parents Daniel J. and Leta M.
Gailus (deceased). Bonnie was married to Walter Hobbs (deceased) in 1953
and had four children, Lydia Hobbs of Denver, CO (deceased), Daniel (Myla)
Hobbs of Loveland, CO, Timothy (Laura) Hobbs of Lakewood, CO, and John
(Karen) Hobbs of Delta, CO. She is also survived by her grandchildren,
Jennifer (Wayne) Hobbs-Wright of Littleton, CO, Joseph (Megan) Hobbs of
Littleton, CO, Matthew Hobbs of Loveland, CO, Nicholas Hobbs of Loveland,
CO, Lindsey Hobbs of Loveland, CO, Karissa Hobbs of Delta, CO, and
step-grandchildren Anthony Guarasci of Rock Springs, WY, Jeremy (Amber) of
Craig, CO, as well as a step great-granddaughter Aivree Guarasci of Craig, CO.
Until recently Bonnie lived at Eaton Terrace in Lakewood when she then moved
to Harmony Pointe Nursing Care Center in Lakewood, CO. Bonnie enjoyed her
family and friends. The love she shared with all of them was unconditional.
She also cherished reading her Bible, listening to Bible hymns and other
Christian music as well as sermons on tape. She enjoyed playing the piano,
knitting and crocheting.
Bonnie's faith in God steered her course. After graduating high school,
Bonnie attended Bible College in Dallas, TX. She also taught Sunday school and
loved to sing. Bonnie also spent some time as a Certified Nursing
Assistant. Her most honorable life's work however, was being a loving,
caring, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and serving her Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. She will truly be missed and will remain eternally in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 3-5pm with services at 9:00am on Monday both at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery. A brief committal service is scheduled for 12:00pm at Ft. LoganNational Cemetery, Staging area. "A".
