Brixton Miller, our beautiful blessing, was taken from us unexpectedly and way too soon, leaving a hole in all our hearts, and now an angel in Heaven above.
Brixton was such a well-mannered child, full of life, with a very sweet spirit. He touched those around him with his infectious laughter and smile that lit up every room.
Baby Brixton had a love for animals, especially his inseparable best friend, his cat, "Joon Bug." Brixton was so intrigued with ladybugs, butterflies, fish, kittens, puppies, and squirrels. The wondrous colors of flowers drew him close to smell and touch.
His passions included: anything outdoors, nature walks, hiking, wagon rides in the park, camping, fly fishing, and swimming. Brixton had just started his snowboard training-full gear this past winter. One of his favorite things was to run like an Olympic runner, with every race starting with a countdown. Bath time was always a blast for Brixton, he was a professional splasher.
Brixton was highly intelligent and loved learning. He knew all his colors including "pink" and "tan." His favorites were blue, purple and lavender. Coloring with chalk and brushes was what he enjoyed most with Mommy and Daddy.
Meal time was never an issue. Instead of saying "yummy" for food, he would say, "money." And boy did he love his "money." His favorite foods were pizza and "fry fries."
In the little life he had, Brixton was blessed to go on many adventures children only dream of, from his first flight to New Mexico, Breckenridge hangout at Dillion Lake, the hot air balloon festival, Rockies games, Denver Zoo, road trips to Texas, dinner at Casa Bonita, to even winter light Christmas festivities.
Baby Brixton loved story time. His favorite books were "Steam Train, Dream Train," read by Mommy and Daddy, and "David and Goliath," especially character voices acted out by his Uncle J. Being a fan of Elmo & Sesame St., Brixton always received his own personal puppet show, which brought laughter each time.
His favorite movies were Cars, Minions and Frozen. Brixton had an obsession with cars, monsters trucks and any vehicle. At bed time, he did not sleep with a soft Teddy Bear, instead he had to have a car in each hand.
Brixton celebrated his 2nd birthday with his most favorite adventure yet, an Aquarium visit, following a Monster Truck Show, and the Children's Museum. He smiled from ear to ear. This was a special birthday for him, he would never forget.
Our sweet Brixton, our sunshine, the beat to our hearts. He will always be missed and was loved by so many, but God loved him more.
Jesus reached out His hand and said, "Brixton, come walk with me, so many flowers, colors, butterflies, ladybugs, to see. Forever you & I will be. For I have set the pain free."
