Sonny was born to Floyd Eres and Sadie Eres in Denver Colorado on September 3rd 1936. In 1961 he joined the armed services and served his country during the Vietnam war. On May 13th of that year he married the love of his life Vonna Dee Freeman, and welcomed their first child Michael Anthony Eres on August 17th ,1961. They were blessed with their second child Yvette Marie Eres on July 21st, 1972.
Sonny was a man who devoted his life to his family, pets, and Vonna's rose garden. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd, his mother Sadie, brother Floyd Jr, sister Lilly, son Michael, and wife Vonna.
Sonny is survived by sisters Maryann and Ramona . Daughter Yvette, grandchildren Shaylyn, Michelle, Anthony, Dean, and Sadie. His great-grandchildren Christian, Orrin, Bella, Hunter, and Reign.
Due to covid-19 restrictions we are asking any friends or non immediate family to please pay respects at the wake on Sonny's birthday Thursday September 3rd, And a private intimate ceremony will be held for immediate family on the 4th.
