Charles F. Stewart, age 83, passed away December 14, 2016. Charles was born August 20, 1933 in Checotah, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and a veteran of the United States Army. Charles worked for the State of Oklahoma and prior to his retirement as a Dairy Researcher for the USDA. In his early years he had a small plane and enjoyed flying. Throughout his life he loved traveling, especially camping or traveling in his motorhome with travel clubs. Charles is survived by his wife Donna; sons: Wayne (Sally) Stewart, Tom (Patty) Stewart and Mike (Mary) Stewart; grandsons Eric Stewart and Kevin Stewart; great grandson Brandon Stewart and brothers Jim Stewart and Don Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Dessie Stewart.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 4-6pm; funeral service will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10:00 am both in the Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace. Reception will follow at Sunrise at Flatirons from 1-3:00 pm.
n lieu of flowers donations are preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
