

Charles Raymond Turner, age 93, of Westminster, Colorado passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Charles was born in Colorado on July 21, 1928. He attended South High School in Denver, Colorado and after serving in the Army, he married his wife, Beverly. He then worked at Rocky Mtn Arsenal for 16 years and went on to be a mail carrier for 20 years with the United States Postal Service. He was an active member of the National Association of Letter Carriers as well as the American Legion.
Throughout his life, he traveled the United States, from the West Coast to the East Coast and everywhere in between. He especially enjoyed camping and fishing in Colorado and its scenic views of mountains and lakes.
Charles was known to all his family and friends for his unique and colorful personality, someone that they could all depend on.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, sons Jaime, Herb (Sheryl), and Terry as well as daughter Kitty and Kitty's husband, Joe; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Charles is preceded in death by daughter Becky and son-in-law, George.
A memorial service for Charles will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Following the memorial service will be a committal service from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236.
