David A. DiLoreto, age 81 died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 surrounded by his beloved sons. Born on September 6, 1937 in Port Chester, New York, he was raised in Penrose, Colorado. Dave married Roslyn (Willie) Wilson on April 2, 1960.
A graduate of Colorado State University, Dave worked for Beech Aircraft and Martin Marietta in Colorado moving in 1965 to Long Beach, Mississippi where he worked on the Apollo program with General Electric. Dave returned to the Denver area in 1971 beginning his most cherished twenty one year can making career with Jeffco Manufacturing and Ball Corporation. Dave (D² - D squared) was very proud to be part of the group that led Jeffco to become part of Ball Corporation. He retired in 1992. His affinity for people, his sense of humor, and love of music was contagious. He lived life to its fullest every day and he was adored by family and friends alike.
He was preceded in death by Willie, his parents Flora Federico (Robert Smilanich), Teddy DiLoreto (Dorothy), and his sister Janice.
Dave is survived by: sons Scott DiLoreto(DeAnna), Steve DiLoreto (Melissa "Missy) Mark DiLoreto (Leona), grandchildren Anthony DiLoreto (Caroline), Alexis DiLoreto, Diana DiLoreto, Angela DiLoreto, David DiLoreto, niece Julie Navarrette (Oscar), nephews J.B., Tim and many great-nieces and nephews along with half brother Mike DiLoreto (Lea) and half sisters Ancilla DiLoreto and Lorilee Duff.
