Deborah "Deb" Rae Arndt

Deb passed away peacefully at her home under Hospice Care in Erie, CO at the age of 70. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends who supported her as she courageously battled Idiopathic Interstitial Lung Disease. She was diagnosed in 2016 and given 2 years to live. She did much research on nutritional supplements and healthy foods to combat her disease. She likely extended her life by 9 years due to her research and applying what she learned. Throughout her illness, she maintained a positive attitude and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her loving friends and family.

During her life she mastered many occupations: Personal Fitness Trainer, Water Aerobics Instructor, High Impact and Low Impact classes, Kickboxing, Step classes and Cycling to name a few. She loved working out and increasing and maintaining her physical fitness. She trained others to become Aerobics Instructors. She managed her own corporate fitness business, offering classes for businesses such as Ball Aerospace for employees during their lunch break. She also spent some time in Nursing School but unfortunately she had to drop out due to her health situation. She managed a loving Home Daycare for many years. She was very Artistic and had a Creative Eye for fashion and interior decorating. She obtained a Manicurist License and was a nail tech for a while. She was an avid baker and decorated wedding cakes for a time. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed her garden. She served as a Full Time Minister from 2008 to 2016. She learned some phrases in several Foreign Languages such as Hmong, Nepali, and Hindi to share information from the Bible with people in the language of their heart.

She was a loving and caring Wife, Mother and Grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years Michael; her son, Ryan Long; her daughter, Andrea Scena and her husband Josh, their children Conner, Ivy, Maddox and Chanelle; her brother, Bob Khan; her sister, Sandra (Khan) McLellan; and her sister, Collene (Khan/Fulton) Latrecchia.

A Memorial of her life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at:
