

Dennis was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Lavenia, the love of his life and constant companion for 45 years. Their bond was one of partnership, caring, and deep commitment, and she remained his greatest source of comfort and strength. Together, they shared a life built on devotion, resilience, and unwavering love.
He was a loving and caring father to his five children, Cindy, Tamara, Tiffany, Edward and Erik. Dennis was also a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, all of whom he adored. Some of their most treasured memories include time spent ice fishing, camping, the quiet lessons taught, stories shared, and moments that will be carried in their hearts forever.
A simple man at heart, Dennis found his greatest joy in the great outdoors and cheering on the Denver Broncos. He spent countless days fishing, camping, and hiking with his best friends Raphael and Tom. Granby Lake was one of his favorite places to spend the day fishing, a spot that brought him calm, happiness and contentment.
Dennis a Master Carpenter, will always be admired for his beautiful woodworking skills. He also enjoyed taking his two dogs, Muffin and Rocky, to the mountains on the weekends and working on his cabins, always showing pride and love in everything he did.
Dennis will always be remembered for his gentle nature, steady presence, sense of humor and deep appreciation for the simple things in life. His legacy lives on through the stories told, traditions passed down, and the lessons we all learned.
