Born on January 30th, 1937 Devona grew up on the prairie near Greeley. She had the joy of growing up with her uncle Jim and aunt Vi and cousins Eldon and Shannon, riding their horse Red to the one room schoolhouse.
Devona was a talented artist and lover of music, leaving behind bountiful drawings, paintings and the sweet memories of her beautiful singing.
She was very spiritual, believing deeply in the power of words, dreams and the holy spirit. She felt that her talents were gifts from God which she shared with others.
Devona is survived by her daughter Lisa, son-in-law Sean, grandchildren Cassie and Quinn, her sister LaDonn, niece Heidi, nephews Eric, Brad and Barry and her former husband David. She is preceded in death by her daughter Diane and sister Doreen.
