On October 12, 2014, Diana Marie Garrison passed away unexpectedly at age 55 in Commerce City, Colorado. Diana was born on April 21, 1959, in Augusta, Georgia. She was the first loving child of Linnea and Loren Eckhardt and the eldest sister to Teri and David Eckhardt.
Diana grew up in Arvada, Colorado and spent many fun and adventurous summers with her family in the small town of Sedgwick, Colorado. She married Richard Garrison and together they raised two beautiful children, Tony and Rachel. Diana earned a Paralegal and Criminal Justice degree and had worked at various law firms in the Denver Metro area. Up to the time of her death, she served as a dedicated federal employee.
Diana loved being a grandmother to her three grandchildren. Undeniably, Diana’s children and grandchildren were her greatest joys in life. She loved caring for animals, gardening, and finding ‘special treasures’ through antiquing. Diana survived by her parents, siblings, children and grandchildren.
Although Diana passed prematurely, she lived a fulfilling life and she will forever be loved and missed.
