Don was the beloved husband of Dorothy Metzler for 61 years. He was a loving father to Don Metzler II, Rick Metzler and Elana Murphy. Loving Grandfather to Jason Metzler, Ember Kalon (Jen), Cassie Williams, Kyle Hilton, Travis Hilton, Jordan Flanigan, Ethan Metzler, Leah Metzler, Michael Metzler and Isabelle Metzler. Great Grandfather to Amber Williams, Dustin Williams, Braelynn Hilton, Gentry Hilton, Charlie Metzler, Greyson Wilder, Isla Flanigan, Lennex Wilder and Fiona Flanigan. Son of Adam and Freda Metzler. Brother to Joyce Taylor. Lifelong friend of numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Don was a very active member of Tri-City Baptist Church and Riverside Baptist Church where he served as the Seniors Pastor for many years. His funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Ed Bulkley of Tri-City Baptist Church.
