After college she moved to Heidelberg, Germany and worked for the US State Department, living in Europe for a few years. When she returned, she moved to Denver and worked for the Overgard Machine Tool Company. A few years later, she and two of her friends started a glass company that specialized in security proof windows for the jewelry store industry and other related users.
She and her husband were avid square dancers and attended many contests and events throughout the tri-state area. She loved going to the mountains and camping with her husband. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, an organization that she truly enjoyed. She was well traveled, alway friendly and considerate to others. She lived a wonderful full life and will be dearly missed by everyone who came into contact with her.
She will be laid to rest with her late husband, Virgil, on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 at 10:00am at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
