February 8, 1941 - April 7, 2016
Donna Fair was born February 8, 1941 at St. Joseph’s hospital where she also passed on April 7, 2016. Her parents Jerry and Beulah Pursley raised Donna and her three sisters Barbara, Myrna and Audre in Colorado. Donna attended Adams City High School where she met her future husband Dale Fair. Dale went off to the service and Donna wrote him at least one letter every day. When Dale returned from the service they were married in May of 1963. Donna gave birth to two daughters Karen and Karol also at St. Joseph’s hospital. Donna spent thirty years working as court clerk for Judges Roan and Gilman until she and Dale retired to spend summers at the cabin. In 1990 Donna’s daughter Karen married Jonathan Rosen and later gave birth to Donna’s greatest pride and joy Jordan and Mitchell. Donna enjoyed many great moments with her family including cookie baking day, oyster stew on Christmas Eve and Fourth of July at the cabin. Donna is survived by her loving husband Dale, her daughters Karen (Jonathan) and Karol, sister Audre, her grandchildren Jordan and Mitchell and nieces and nephews Raymond (Kathy) Kirby, Diana (Dennis) Scriven, John (Elicia) Kirby, Mark (Angie) Depew, Laura (Scott) Johnson and numerous grandnieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10AM Wednesday April 13th at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection. A lunch reception to follow in the Dahlia Room of the Wheatridge Recreation Center. Her ashes will be laid to rest in a private ceremony. A donation in memory of Donna Fair to your favorite charity can be made if you so choose.
