My husband Richard send out deepest sympathy to both Gary and Gail.  We where there when Dr. McGlothlin delivered both of you.
Your Dad (Clarence) got the band together and they played at our wedding reception.  We stayed with Clarence and Eileen a month before our house was ready to move into.  They both were fun.  Eileen lived with my husbands family in Greenmont Village while she was taking her Nurses training.  We loved  your Mom and Dad.  Our Love to you and your sister.  I just read that Eileen died.

Gale, Gary and families,  I am sorry your Mom is gone, but I know she has been in terrible pain. I can just see your Mom and your Dad in heaven together laughing and telling stories. Maybe they're dancing.
I was thinking the other night about the evening I agreed to have your Mom pierce my ears. I'm sure I was about 15 years old, and I'm sure your Mom got my Mom's permission first after my Mom had to discuss the issue with me at length. "Yes Mom (and Dad), I know I'm defacing my body, but I'm sure I want to do this!" I remember sitting down in the kitchen with a towel around my neck. Your Mom came out with a blue ballpoint pen that she marked dots on my ears, making sure the dots were even. She used a big ice cube that she held on my ears, one at a time, until she deadened them. Then she took a REALLY BIG SAFETY PIN and she pierced my ears. She probably used an apple or something. I just focused on the REALLY BIG SAFETY PIN.  I thinking about this and wonder if I would be able to do that - pierce someone else's ears!!!  I don't think I would have let anyone else do that to me, but your Mom was a nurse. That meant she was really cool. She'd know what to do.  Anyway, I can think of many more times with your Mom, LaFleur Florist Flower Shops, going to the Tracadero Ballroom at Elitch's and watching your parents dance while I'm sure we sat and listened to the music. There were weddings -  yours and mine, anniversaries, babies, and many other times over the years. Your Mom was a special lady and I will miss her! God Bless both Gale and Gary! Oh I just loved being around Eileen. She would always give me a huge huge  smile whenever  she saw me. I will truly miss this lady.
