Elsie Johnson, age 104, of Lakewood, died October 29, 2015 Beloved Italian momma who cooked delicious Italian dishes, loved her family and church, fed the world, and a friend to all. Oldest of six children of Italian immigrants Pasquale and Anna (DiBartolomeo) Tarullo. Born in Kleenburn, Wyoming, on Aug 1, 1911. Married Fredrick Wilbur Johnson (1907-50) in 1931. Retired from Jefferson County Schools in 1973. Mother of Nanci A. (Frederick) Young, Fredrick R. (Carolyn) Johnson, Carolyn (Dave) Luebbers, and Dottie Johnson, all of Denver area. Grandmother of Cherie (John) Bucknam, Cay (Greg) Stull, Annemarie (Mark) Sunderhuse, Jean (Cyrus) Fanning, and Wendy Denise Johnson, all of Colorado. Loving great grandmother of nine. Visitation Sunday, 2-4pm at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday 11 am, St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 7240 W. 12th Ave, Lakewood. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
