We regretfully announce the passing of Emily Borrego, who went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loved ones on April 7, 2022. Emily was born in Rio Arriba New Mexico on December 6, 1936. She lived most of her life in Denver Colorado where she independently raised her six children. Emily is survived by her son Raymond, her daughters Doris, Tina and Linda, her two sisters Pauline and Virginia, her niece Angie, and her 11 grandchildren Charlene, Theresa, Mike III, Johnnie, Yvette, Shiree, Jeremy, Josh, Jacob, Kristina, and Gabriel along with numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She will be greeted at the gates of heaven by her parents, siblings, and her two sons John and Anthony. Emily was the backbone and foundation of her family. She loved wholeheartedly and unconditionally. She would do anything for those she loved. In her last year‘s Emily had a difficult battle with breast cancer and her family is blessed knowing she will finally rest eternally in peace.
