Ernestine Medina

Ernestine Medina "Ena" lived a full and enriched life until her passing on July 29, 2025. She was born November 20, 1936 to Apolonio and Tedorita (Cisneros) Medina. She had 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Her family owned a ranch in San Luis Colorado where she helped her family in ranching and farming. She had two sons that were the love of her life! As a loving mother she prided herself in knowing she raised her children on her own and provided them with a loving home and instilled in them life values and the ethics of working hard. She lived in her home for 51 years. She had 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.

Her hobbies and passions included gardening, biking, traveling, ceramics and spending time with her sister Marbella. She dedicated herself to spending time with her family and helped raise her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Santiago and Leonard, sister Marbella (Fernando), Daughters-in-law Cheryl and Lynne, grandchildren James, Marc (Tawnya), Nick (Amy), Brittany, Orlando and great grandchildren Luke, Collins, Trinity, Cherish and Unique; great great grandchildren, Christian, Emilio, Zaden and Ava; nephew Joe (Paula) and many others.

The family would like to thank Tawnya Ciddio-Medina and Health One Hospice for their care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final months and days.

A visitation for Ernestine will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cem, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. A funeral service will occur at 10:00 AM with a graveside to follow. Immediately following the graveside service will be a reception.
