Born June 29, 2014 in Sioux City, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Emma (Hoffman) Holt.
Esther served in the Navy at the Pensacola U.S. Naval Base, which she was very proud of. She acquired her pilot’s license, and had a great love and passion for flying planes. In her working years, she was an outstanding secretary for the Federal Government. Esther thoroughly loved and enjoyed dogs. The last seven years she had resided at the Colorado State Veterans Home at Fitzsimons. Esther was a dear friend to many and had made many friends over the course of her life; she will be missed greatly.
Survivors include her sister, Byrness Haoorth of Ohio and many friends.
A graveside service will be held 2pm, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
A memorial service celebrating Esther’ life will be held in May.
