Born in Peoria, Illinois on February 22, 1946, Gail moved to Denver in her youth and graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. Gail was a talented and creative force who taught herself to play the piano, enjoyed baking and completed many ambitious home improvements. Staying home to take care of her daughters, Gail created a home business by using her exceptional sewing skills to make custom clothing for several private clients and family members. Taking advantage of the Colorado outdoors, Gail enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and friends. Granby, Red Feather Lakes, and Twin Lakes were some of her favorite spots.
Gail is survived by her two daughters Janelle (Stephan) and Kelly (Scott), her grandchildren Hayden, Aaron, Karlee, and Anne-Sophie, sisters Jean (Lou) and brother Glenn (Kathy) as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Evelyn “Penny” (Tony).
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, September 29th at 1pm in the Chapel at Faith Church, 6225 Wright Street, Arvada, CO 80004. A reception will follow the service within the Atrium, across from the chapel.
