Dear Pat, I am so sorry and so surprised to learn of Gary's passing.  It just doesn't make sense to me.  I ache for your loss and look forward to catching up whenever you can catch a breath.  You and the rest of your family will certainly be in our prayers.  I am so sorry to have missed Gary's services.

Oh, such a heartbreaking loss.  Gary was truly one of the best guys I've ever known.  When I got this shocking news today, I just put my head down on my desk and cried.  I couldn't believe it. If anyone ever deserved a long and happy retirement together it was you and Gary. I had thought of you often over the last few months, silently wishing you warm and sunny times in Florida. I'm so very sorry.
