He was a Master Bricklayer until his retirement at the age of 62. He married Harriett Ida Bergstrom on June 10, 1950. She predeceased him in 1996.They made their home in Denver, CO and raised three daughters. He built the house in the Westwood neighborhood for his family. He purchased a lot in 1961 at Green Mountain Reservoir and built a fishing cabin for himself and his family. The family spent many enjoyable weekends together at the cabin.
He is survived by his daughters: Jackie, Eileen and Tracy. Also by his son-in-law Patrick, and significant other Jeffrey. He is survived by his beloved grandchildren: Sean, Paul, Andrew, Ian and Lisa, and Paul’s wife Linh and Andrew’s wife Shelby. Andrew and Shelby are expecting his first great granddaughter.
