He is survived by his wife of 68 years Elsie Gallegos. Survivors also include his 3 daughters Becky Rangel and her husband Cruz, Julie Lopez and her husband Dan, Christine Cordova & her husband Gary Levin. He is also survived by his Grandchildren Seth Cordova, Shayna Barco, Samantha Cordova, Jesse Jurado, Crystal Raulston, AJ Cardenas & Candace Day. Surviving Great Grandchildren are
Connor & Eleanor Whalen, Logan, Isabella & Anna Elena Raulston, Anthony Cardenas, Johnny, Veronica & Charly Day, Victoria, Elisa, Savion & Gavin Cardenas.
James was preceded in death by his parents Tomasita Lucero & Candelario Gallegos and sisters Ann, Vivian, Virginia, Lucille, Helen & Marcella along with half-brother Gable. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Diana Cardenas.
Viewing will be at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3900 Pierce St, Wheat Ridge CO on August 9, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Recitation of Rosary 10:15 a.m., reading of the eulogy at 10:45 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Following services he will taken to his final resting place at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery 12801 W. 44th Avenue.
