James Jackson Ward was born on September 16, 1967 in Kenton, Ohio to James Ward, Sr. and Nancy Strahm Ward. He graduated from Monte Vista High School in 1985 where he met his future wife, Raechel Jackson. James attended Humbolt State College where he studied Graphic Arts. He worked in Graphic Arts and Accounting until his Grandmother’s death prompted him to apply to Mortuary School in Sacramento, California. He married Raechel Jackson in February of 2005 and embraced her daughter, Heather. His son, William was born on September 19, 2005. The family moved to Denver where James began working at the Olinger Care Center in 2008. He taught students at the Olinger Personal Care Center and was a valued member of their team. His last position was at National Cremation Society/Neptune group, helping families arranging cremation. James is survived by his beloved wife, Raechel Jackson-Ward, his dearest son, William, his daughter, Heather Jackson-Pease, sister; Jennifer (Robert) Wyatt, father; James Ward, Sr., his mother; Nancy (Robert) Vigil, other loving family and friends.
