A native of Colorado, Jeannette was born to Jack & Barbara (Smith) Clark in 1952. She met William “Posey” Feigt while leaving the Congress Park Pool in the summer of '65. Little did she know that she had just met her future husband and the love of her life. Jeannette and Posey were married three years later, went on to have two children, Shawn & Michelle, and have spent the last 54 wonderful years together.
Jeannette built a successful career in the oil and gas industry through her hard work, dedication and determination. She began her career progression as a data entry clerk with only a ninth-grade education. She later became a Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst and worked her way through a bachelor's degree in business administration from Regis University. She retired in 2012 as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Central Resources, Inc., a Denver oil and gas company. Jeannette was also President of the Denver Association of Lease and Title Analysts during her career.
Jeannette excelled at everything she did. She learned to speak Spanish to further her career, and frequently traveled out of the country. Jeannette somehow found time to keep a wonderful home; she was known in the family as a fantastic cook, and a skilled seamstress. She was especially thoughtful and giving; she took great pleasure in finding "just the right" gift for her loved ones. Jeannette’s grandson and great-grandchildren were her heart and joy. She made sure that time spent with Nana was always fun and special. She enjoyed traveling to different countries with her husband, Posey, and spending quality time at home with her beloved dogs Gracie & Chloe.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her son Shawn Paul Feigt, sister Ellen (Clark) Burger, father Jack Clark, and mother Barbara (Smith) Roderick. Survived by her husband, Posey Feigt, daughter Michelle Nusz (Mark), grandson Shawn Donovan Feigt (Samantha), five great-grandchildren (Jaida, Brystal, Phoenix, Marley and Kacek), sisters (Billie, and Tamara), brothers (Jerry, and Jim), nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Jeannette was an amazing wife, mom, and nana. She is loved, missed, and will always be cherished!
