Jennie Mercedes Miller, 91, of Colorado died Wednesday November 27th peacefully in her Lakewood home surround by family. She was born February 19, 1928 in Valdez, Colorado to Juan Emilio Giron and Leonarda Giron.
She married Tommy Miller Jr. on June 25, 1966. They blended their family and together raised eleven total children, eight sons and three daughters. Jennie retired from Mrs. Condie’s Salad Company as a produce packer. She was very spiritual and studied the bible religiously.
She is preceded in death by her children; Charles, Robert, Donald, Larry, and Randolph Miller; her siblings; Lucy (Ben) Santistevan, Lita Alcala, Phil (Rose) Giron, James Giron, and Joe (Lydia) Giron.
She is survived by her children, Louis (Rose) Ortega, Thomas (Leslie) Miller, Kenneth (Payo) Miller, Lydia (Rod) Ortega, Kathryn Ortega, and Frances Ortega. She also leaves behind her siblings, Eleanor Giron, and Juan (Rita) Giron, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
