James C. “Jimmy” Forbes, age 82, passed away December 30, 2017. Jimmy was born August 9, 1935 in New York City, New York. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was the recipient of a Korean War Service Medal. Jimmy loved puzzles, the mountains and most of all his family. Jimmy is survived by his wife Ruby; children Jimmy (Sarelle) Forbes, Billy Forbes and Jamie (Sheryl) Giambartolomei; grandchildren: Jeremiah, Kristine, Adrienne, Justin and Nicole; niece and nephew John and Bernie Schneidawin and their family and his sister in law Barb Forbes. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Hel n Forbes and his siblings: John Forbes, Tom Forbes and Eleanor Schneidawin. Memorial Service will be Friday, January 12, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace.
