Josephine, or Josie as she was known, was born in Montrose, Colorado, on September 18, 1929. Josie was born to Gene Cordova and Ann Cordova Diaz. Josie was the mother of four children and is survived by Genette (Gerald) Scalpone and David Trancoso.
Her beloved sons Joseph and Tony Jr, passed away in 1989 and 1985, respectively.
She was married to Tony Trancoso who preceded her in death in 1982.
Josie was very proud of and loving to her grandchildren, David “Gino” (Vanessa) Delgado, Emmett “J.R.” (Amy) Delgado and Ryan Trancoso. She was even more proud of her great grandchildren, Chynna, Rynie, Jake, Joseph Anthony and Isabella.
Josie had many loving brothers and sisters. She is survived by Bill, Linda, Rose and Glen.
Bernie, Dolores (Lollie), Gene (Junior) and Mabel preceded her in death.
Josie was a loving and caring person who had a deep faith in Christ.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
