Julie Marie Morse

Julie grew up in Westminster, CO as the middle child of three: An older brother, Robert “Bob” and a younger sister, Sharon “Shari”. She graduated from Iver C Ranum High School in 1979. She was married in 1981 and welcomed her first son, Joseph Robert Chavez, Jr. “Bobby” on May 11, 1982. She then welcomed her daughter, Leah Marie Chavez on May 19, 1984. While growing up she enjoyed playing softball, riding bicycles, swimming and had a passion for fishing. Later in her life she found a love for drawing and crocheting but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her six grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, and Chase Chavez, and Natalie Chavez, Yahin Jr and Ethan Villegas.

Julie is survived by her children Bobby (Maxine), Chavez, Jr and Leah Marie (Yahin) Villegas, her sister, Shari (Dave) Holland, her aunt, Donna (John) Gonzales, nieces Nicole (Kalin) Roche and Jenna (Shelby) Caster and many cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 W 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
