With faith that she is in God's hands, the family of Kathy Ramsey wants you know that Kathy laid down all her earthly burdens in the early morning hours of Feb 4th, 2018. She had suffered for a long time battling a debilitating lung disease. She is loved and missed. On her behalf, we want to thank you for sharing your lives with her, she truly loved her family and friends.
The greatest joy in Kathy's life was her son, Reid, his wife, Codi and their lovely family. Her beautiful granddaughters were the center of her universe. Her love for them was boundless. She had an abiding pride in all they accomplished. She took a special pride in their compassion and enthusiasm in all they did. I know that she will forever watch over them and marvel at what they do in life.
In addition to Reid's family, Kathy is survived by Kris and Sy Adams, Charlie and Suzan Koopman, Karl and Trudy Koopman, Sandy and Bill Dodson, Virgil Ramsey, numerous nieces and nephews and their respective families, and many friends that enriched her life. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Dewey and Dorothy Koopman.
In lieu of flowers, donations to National Jewish Hospital or to the Jeffco Boys and Girls Club would be most appreciated.
