Kathy was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother. She left this earth peacefully, after a long battle with dementia. She was surrounded by her husband and daughters, who cared for her in her home until she passed.
There could not be enough beautiful things to say about our lovely Angel. She was our sweetheart. If you've had the honor of knowing our mom, you know. She was the person that was always there for everyone, no matter the sacrifice. The person that with no questions asked, would drop everything to be there. She always lived her life with grace, love and forgiveness.
Our mother was the most incredible mother. She was the PTA mom. The mom that had cookies for us after school and dinner ready on the table each night. She would stay up all night long with us when we were sick, even after we became adults. There was no greater comfort than having our mommy take care of us, no matter the age. She always loved to gamble, dance and have a good time.
She was our best friend until the night we handed her over to our Lord and Savior. She was the most incredible wife. Not many people get to experience a love & marriage that lasts almost 60 years. Our parents were soulmates, and took their vows seriously, especially "in sickness and in health". They always stood by each other and they were each other's best friend. Our dad always took care of our mom, but when our mom needed our dad the most, he stepped up & took such phenomenal care of my her - until death did they part.
Please feel free to share any memories you have with our sweet momma. We thank you all for your love, prayers and support during this difficult time.
A visitation for Kathleen will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary (7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Evergreen Memorial Park in Evergreen, Colorado.
