Graduated from Westminster High School in 1956. Attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in Electrical Engineering.
Work history included Ball Brothers Aerospace, Coors Porcelain Co., Electromedics, Inc, and Wanco Inc. serving in various research and development positions, primarily in managerial capacities. During his tenure at Electromedics (medical device manufacturer) he designed a prototype heat exchanger for use in warming blood during a surgical procedure that separated red and white blood cells from patients own blood, returning their own ‘cleansed’ blood to them.
Les was a devoted and loyal family man. His greatest pleasures were spending time with his grandchildren and fishing and hiking at Trappers Lake — his most special place on earth.
