Loren Howe

Loren passed away October 26, 2014. He was the youngest child born to Donald and Freda (Love) Howe on February 8, 1962 in La Junta, Colorado.

Loren grew up in Arvada, CO and graduated from Arvada West High School in 1980. Loren’s career was in digital media.

Loren is survived by his wife Donna, and sons Donald and Sean (MA); parents Donald and Freda Howe (Arvada, CO); siblings Brian, Cindy, Steven (Beth) and Debbie Howe (CO); nephews Michael, Douglas, and Christopher (Jamie) Howe (CO); great-niece and great-nephew Melanie and Jacob Howe (CO); as well as many members of his extended family.

Family and friends were very important to Loren. He has been described as being “all heart.” He loved the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. He enjoyed music, watching sports, barbecue, and family road trips. He loved animals, especially dogs, and rescued many strays. Loren was active in Little League, youth soccer and Boy Scouts with his sons. In recent years, Loren became a passionate supporter of raising awareness and finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

A memorial and celebration of life service will be held at Arbor House at Maple Grove Park, 14600 W. 32nd Avenue, Golden, CO 80402 at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 5, 2015. Interment will be at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, CO (private).
