Hearing of my cousin, Lorraine's, recent death prompts me to affirm the 
wonderful, fun times she ,Arlene (her late younger sister) and I had together at
my home in Canon City and her's in Denver when we were children.As an educator of young children for 27 years, I am especially aware of what lasting importance these times of sheer fun and joy can be. She and I often referred to them during the conversations we had when I phoned her at the Mt. Vista Center. Margery (Gerlach) Layton

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.Some of the happiest memories of my childhood were spent at your house. Yur Mom was very special.

Larry was my right-hand woman at Trinity.  She was always there to do whatever needed to be done.  She had a true servant's heart and  faithfully served her Savior.  A very special lady.

Larry loved cooking creative new dishes, I remember her "Vichyssoise" cold soup on a hot summer day, and the beautiful meringue deserts for my wedding shower. She was a perfectionist with the patience of a saint when it came sewing-- she made numerous cloths, dolls, toys for my children through the years. I"ll never forget her lilac house and picnics in the back yard for Jessie, Karen, and Peter. She seemed to have endless energy and love for everyone. Her first attempts at photography were really funny, mostly shoes and legs, as usual she could laugh at her own attempts. Your light will always be in our hearts. Linda Smith, Wheat Ridge, CO

Karla & I grew up together!  There wasn't much we didn't get into either:-o)Larry was always my other mom and Bill was my other dad! She taught some great skills in life! Always cooking, always making things! I was always envious cuz Karla had the best costumes for our musicals! Made especially by Larry! All the doll clothes we had! I still have a couple of dresses for my doll that she made! She made Chinese Chicken salad for my bridal shower many, many years ago! So personal, and so special! I remember how hard she always worked. She'd be up at the crack of dawn and come home from work at 10pm. A very generous and kind, loving mom she was indeed! I was very fortunate to have been such a great part of the Rouch family for all those years! She will be missed, but always remembered as a generous and kind person.  Love you Larry!

Larry was an absolute doll to my sister & I. We always went to Bill & Larry's when we were in Denver on vacations & ended up with a great meal , fun & fellowship. One time she was planting 100 tulip bulbs when we came...we always wished we could have seen them in bloom. Our sympathys to  you all and  blessings to your families....

   I knew your Mom many years ago. I used to come to holiday dinners. Your Mom was always nice to me and I have only heard nice things about her. We are very sorry for your loss. I am an orphan too. Take care.
