Lory was a childhood friend for over 60 years. We grew up together in Retreat Park.  I remember playing with Lory and Esther during the summer months. We even had a club house dedicated to the Hermits Hermits. Lol.    I loved Lory's awesome laugh and her beautiful smile.  She was a genuine person full of love and life and everytime we saw her she would give us the biggest smile and hug and that laugh!!  Lory I am thankful for your friendship and love and will miss you dearly. RIP my friend 😇💞

I am uncle Jim to Lory, you were always there for us. You touched so many lives and will be missed by all. We love you girl. May you Rest In Peace, until we meet again. Love always

I have so many great memories. The hardest part will be when I get off work, the first person I call is my Godmother. Once I’m in the car I start dialing, we start talking and I don’t realize I’m stuck in traffic. I  have her under as GMom with the flexed emoji arm because I consider her a strong person. The whole ride home I made sure she’s okay and she makes sure I am too. Once she see me pull up to my driveway she would say “okay I see you’re home, I’ll let you go.” If someone in the house hasn’t brought her baby Belen she’ll let me know, no has taken her down. Made sure that she got to see her baby even if it’s for a couple minutes. Belen and I miss you! We love you so so much! 

Wonderful memories visiting my cousins in Denver over the years. Lory took us to the Grisly Rose to see John Michael Montgomery. It was a blast. She always took time to see us when we visited. Rest in peace. Love, Nancy and Carlos Cisneros.

My name is Debbie and I went to school with Lory. Our graduating class was quite small, only having a little over 100 people, when we graduated in 1972 from Mapleton High School in Denver. 

Lory was outgoing and always involved in helping to plan, organize and participate in many, many activities over the years. She loved everyone she met and was always a bright ray of sunshine in all our lives. We will miss her so very much. 

Fly free without any more  pain Lory. Until we meet again, my friend and former classmate, I leave you with our class motto.

My name is Martha Daniels. I worked with Lory at FedEx  in the office. We were a great group. We would have Christmas dinner out together every year. She was so supportive of my daughter and my whole family. She will be truly missed. Love you Lory RIH, you will be missed.

Lory was always there , she was family , always caring and loving. She was so happy and would always spend every holiday with us ❤️ We will miss you so so much & will always love/remember you ❤️

We were little girls in 1961 when we met. I am having a difficult time realizing that I won’t see you again. Thankful for the good times and laughs we shared through our school years and as adults.  Grateful we patched things up between us after crossing ideas for one of the reunions. (Strong willed women are our class legacy!)I will miss you, and was blessed by your friendship. Lory loved Christmas, she loved her grandbabies, and had lots of friends and family who loved her as well. We had the privilege of having a virtual meeting with her before she passed away and told us to take care of each other and not to be sad because she was tired of being so sick. She told us she loved us and not to cry. Lory we love you and miss you! God bless you, May you rest in peace.

I worked with Lori at Fedex. She was a tough teacher, and expected perfection . She taught me a lot .  She was a hard worker. She loved her family and was very proud of them. May she rest in peace.

My heart goes out to Lorys family and friends. Lory was truly a blessed soul. She touched my life as part of the  Mapleton family and I feel blessed by connecting with her on Facebook.  Rest in Peace Lory. Heaven has another angel. 

We loved Lory as a friend and family member of all Snyder’s and Nowels, who was a most caring, loving, beautiful person who gave her heart to everyone. Allen and I miss Lory already, but know how much she suffered in pain from cancer for several years. Her spirit that exuded joy can now be free of any burdens or struggle.  We loved her laugh, her beautiful smile, her love of her goddaughters and grandchildren surrounding her. Religious spirit and family significance were of supreme value and importance, and connecting in visits of love and family gave meaning to her life and ours. We miss you, Lory, and send you to heaven to continue love and care for us, and so that we can see you and love you in the stars and moon, and in future love in heaven. Our prayers go to you, as does our care, compassion and love we learned from you.  We love you, Lory.
