Marie Angela Meininger, born February 13, 1921, was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Meininger, daughter, Sondra Maher, and grandson Bary Taylor. She is survived by two children, Susan Taylor and Steve Meininger. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She lived a busy and rewarding life, being involved in church activities for most of those years, being involved with the Arvada Lion's Club, and the Arvada Historical Society. She was a major contributor to several books with the Arvada Historical Society, and was solely responsible for a book of her own, a historical and informative survey of her life, as well as information about family that preceded her and followed her.
Marie Meininger was loved by people around her and will be missed by many. Her impact on those in her life will be felt for a very long time.
