Marlene passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of October 16th, while living in Mapleton Care Center in Lakewood, Colorado. She was loved by not only her family, but the staff at the center because of her cheerful and positive attitude, despite her being bedridden for the last few months. Even at the age of 84, Marlene knew how to use her smart phone to not only call her people, but text them, too. And, once she learned that she could have not only pizza delivered to her, but a variety of foods via Uber Eats, she felt happy and empowered to not be at the mercy of the chef's special that day!
Marlene is preceded in death by her two husbands, Jack and Bob Beye. She is survived by her daughter, Sherri (husband Tracy), and her son, Jack (wife Alberta). And, in Marlene's own words, her awesome grandchildren and even more amazing great-grandchildren.....Grandson, Ryan (wife Anita) and their three children, Vivien, Landon and Wesley. Her Granddaughter, Jaquie (husband Ryan) and their two children, Jake and Cole. Marlene is also survived by her brother, Stan Clymer (wife Karen), Sister-in-laws, JoAnn Styron and Maggie Kinseth, and brother-in-law, Windy Beye (wife Peggy) and many, many, many, many nieces and nephews!
Visitation will be on Monday, October 25th, from 6-8 p.m. at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado,80033.
Funeral will be at the same location on Tuesday, October 26th, at 10:30 a.m.
