Born Mary Ann Hostetler on Jan. 3, 1940, she attended East High School, UNC and CU. In the 70's and early 80's she worked for Western Service Agency, and moved to the Boston area in 1986 to work for AMS.
After retiring, she traveled extensively visiting London, Morocco, Tibet and Patagonia among other places, and settled in Bellingham, WA where she enjoyed a quiet life of handcrafts, basketry and spending time with her cat Olivia.
She is survived by her children Andrew and Rebecca, brother Lloyd (Donna) Hostetler, and half sister Virginia Lee Howells.
