Writing for my mom Anita, sister to Rick and Ray's father. My mom adored Mary. Loved her so much. They had so many memories from their young days. I will share more memories from my mom soon. In the meantime, here's a photo of Mary with her mother-in-law (at the time), my grandmother, Charlotte Apodaca. Taken in Charlotte's front yard on Osage. 

I remember when I was a very young girl, my dear Auntie Mary was totally crazy about Frank Sinatra. She had several pictures of him hanging on the wall. 
My Auntie was a kind and tender person, with a great sense of humor.

Grandma,

Thank you for always believing in me from day one. You taught me so much throughout life. You were always so loving, caring and understanding.  I've never seen you angry or mad at anyone or anything. You were always ready to help the boy's and I whenever we needed it. You showed us what family really is. You also taught me so many cooking recipes that everyone loves so much. I will continue to make you proud and carry on you wonderful traits. I'm beyond blessed to have had you in my life for 94 year's. You lived an amazing long life and impacted so many people. Grandma I will truly miss you and I hope you are up there will all the family but most of all chilling with Jamie... Until we meet again Grandma I love you so much. Love Tianna

Grandma Mary! We love You. You were the best grandma ever. You made an impact in so many peoples lives. The love you had was unconditionally.  You lived a long wonderful life and brought joy to so many. Your heart was made of gold. You truly are going to be missed! Rest easy. You are just hanging in there your not swinging anymore! I Love You A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!
