Michael Day Jesmer

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Helen; wife, Regina Jesmer; son, David Jesmer; brothers, James and Russell Jesmer; and sister, Marge Skala.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Jan Mussman; daughters, Elizabeth Jesmer and Theresa (Michael) Makelky; son, Michael (Kelly Hinz) Jesmer; grandchildren, Scott (Alexis Boyd) Makelky, Matthew (Jillian) Makelky, Fred Makelky, Katrina (David Davis) Makelky, and Rachel Makelky. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mike spent most of his professional career at Associated Grocers and Werner Trucking. He was also a proud member of Teamsters 435. Mike found happiness throughout his life spending time in the outdoors, fishing and camping. He relished spending time with his family and friends. Cooking was one of his passions and he enjoyed sharing the meals he prepared. He was also a die-hard Bronco fan and enjoyed having season tickets for many years. He loved watching the Hallmark Channel and found his greatest happiness listening to music. Mike and his wife Regina were active members of Highlands Lutheran Church for many years.

A Celebration of Mike's life will be conducted on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, followed by burial at 11:00 AM.
