Michael David Rivera

Michael was born in Denver Colorado on February 25,1955 to Eva and Jerry Rivera. Michael was an only child. He attended elementary and junior high school in Denver Colorado.

Michael graduated from South High School and went on to graduate from Texas A and M.

Michael lived in Denver Colorado and worked for the Wonder Bread Company and Denver Public Schools.

In 1994 Michael met the love of his life Melody Virginia Espinoza. They dated for four years before they married in Denver Colorado on December 31st 1998.

Mike continued his education and became a Realtor and Property Manager. Together with Melody they created their own business, specializing in sales and management.

Mike had many interests, he loved being outdoors, gardening, hiking, and traveling. One of his favorite places to visit was Las Vegas for the shows, to visit with family and to enjoy his favorite game Black Jack. Mike enjoyed adventure and traveled along with Melody, friends and family to Greece, Amsterdam, Germany and Italy. When at home he loved to go hiking and take walks with Mel and his beloved dog Bella.

Michael touched many lives with love and lots of laughter and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his Wife Melody Rivera, his Children, his sister in laws and their husbands. Cynthia and James Trujillo, Michelli and Alex Hernandez, Angeline and Leon Espinoza. His loving nephews Daniel and David Hernandez and Emilio Espinoza. His Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends. Michael was preceded in death by his Mother Eva Rivera and Father Jerry Rivera and his beloved friend and faithful Akita Bella Boo.

Viewing and Rosary Services for Michael will be held on April 3rd, from 4-6, with the Rosary beginning at 6. This will take place at Crown Hill Mortuary at the main building located at 7777 W 29th Ave in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Church Services will be held on April 4th, at Holy Ghost Church at 1900 California St, Denver, Colorado at 10 am. Interment will follow at 12 noon at Crown Hill Cemetery located at 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Immediately following will be a reception dinner at Heritage Hall at Crown Hill Mortuary located at 7777 W 29th Ave. in Wheat Ridge Colorado.
