I miss you grandma,
I remember the times we would sit on the porch and talk about life. You told me stories about you upbringing and how much you missed your dad and how amazing he was. I know your dream was for our family to have harmony but unfortunately it's still a work in progress. I pray one day your dream will come true. Your legacy lives on and your impact hasn't left us. I had a dream that you and grandpa were wearing all white and dancing together. I know you're in a better place looking upon us. I miss you both. You were the sweetest soul and only God knows how much we need you now. I often think of the times when you expressed to me that you felt lonely because no one would visit you but you never took it personal and still showed everybody unconditional love ❤️.  You sacrificed your life to show us the true definition of love but we still don't seem to get it but hopefully one day we will. I want you to know that I always think about you and one day soon we will reunite and rejoice. I LOVE YOU grandma you will never be forgotten. I pray that your at peace. I will always keep you in my heart until we meet again.

Missing you on this beautiful Monday morning. It’s been 4 months now and even as we all continue to live our lives, we have not and WILL NOT forget you. There’s the saying, “Out of sight, out of mind.” That is SO not the case with us. For your family it’s more like, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” You are deeply missed! Everyday is a day without you. I can remember thinking how there’d be a day like this, a day where you’d no longer walk this earth. A day where we’d long for you, your touch, your smile, even your stubbornness. You weren’t always stubborn, just when it came time for certain things. We won’t talk about that here though. 😉  You were the cutest and sweetest little woman. You didn’t like conflict and you always tried to be the peace maker and keeper. All you ever wanted was for your family to love each other and to be kind to one another. You were the glue that held this family together. My prayer is that you left enough of yourself here to keep us bonded. 
Yesterday. You visited my mom yesterday. 😢 ❤️ 
The house was a little busy with people coming and going and in the midst of all that, you showed up. Mom asked, “Where did she go?! She was just here!” Looking around frantically as she began to tell us who she was talking about, she burst into tears! “Mom was just here, I saw her, I felt her! I feel her now - right here!” She was standing by your chair. Oh, that empty chair! (Or is it?) She brought us all to tears. We miss you. Maybe you’ll visit me in a dream sometime... I’d like that. Hint hint. 
Can’t find better words with a deeper meaning, but we LONG to see you again.

Hello again, Grams. 
Do you miss us, yet... well, me anyway? 😉
YOU are SO deeply missed down here on this empty planet. Today marks 3 months of your passing. Some days are easier than others, but not a day goes by that it isn’t hard to believe you’re not here. Sometimes I have to shake the thought of it out of my head, almost offended with myself for thinking such a thing! But reality hits and here I am, writing to you on your obituary page. It’s actually quite comforting to do this. It’s as if I’m sending you an email in Heaven. Kinda silly, I guess, but be expecting one every now and then. Ok? Ok. 
Gramma, I miss you. The house feels different. You’re not in your chair, holding your chin as if you’re contemplating your next move, or clasping your cute little hands around your cute little knee, or even pretending to be asleep in your cute little way. You were just so cute! 
I had to take a moment to let out a few, ok fine, A LOT of tears while writing this note. It’s just so hard to wrap my head around it, Gram. It hurts so deep and so much. 😔 💔

You visited me last night in my dreams. I got to hug you tight again. Although it felt so real, I knew it wasn’t. Funny that we know we’re dreaming in our dreams. I even told you that we missed you and you said, “I know.”  I do. I miss you everyday, Gramma.  I love you.

It’s been a whole month, Gramma. 
On November 22nd, we celebrated our LAST Thanksgiving WITH you. On December 24th, we celebrated our FIRST Christmas WITHOUT you. 😔 Our lives have been forever changed by the loss of you. There are so many “firsts” coming  up... in a few short days, we’ll have our first New Year without you. I can’t recall ever having a holiday where you weren’t there and I gotta say, it’s pretty hard. I miss you. We all miss you. Merry Christmas in Heaven, Gramma. I love you.  

It’s been exactly 3 weeks today that you left us. Seems like just yesterday we were sitting in your living room doing absolutely nothing... but there’s no one else I’d rather do nothing with.  I miss you SO much, Gramma. You were just always supposed to be here...never did I think you wouldn’t be.  Maybe we took you forgranted in that sense. 😔 
Life for my mom has definitely changed drastically. Her world revolved around you. She sacrificed so much to be there for you and I know she’d do all over again if she had the chance. We all would. We weren’t ready to let you go. Some may call it selfishness, but one more day, one more hour or second with you is all we wanted. Just one more... and then just one more after that.  
God’s timing is perfect... He welcomed you to your Heavenly Home on His time. We are thankful He allowed us to have you for “just one more...”

   As thousands of thoughts and memories race through my mind, I can't seem to find the words that truly define how special you are!!

Heaven sent, the most loving and gentle person I have ever met. What an honor it is to call you gramma! 

Although I miss your presence and your beautiful face, it would be so selfish to want you here with me suffering. You've endured a great deal of pain and the thought of you being in the arms of Jesus brings me great comfort!! 

There's nobody like you gramma!!!! 
I miss you more than the desert misses thee ocean. 

Tell everybody up there I say hello and I love and miss them.

I LOVE YOU ALWAYS

We weren’t related by blood, but related by love and friendship. Gramma Minnie was always so sweet and kind to me. I will forever remember her saying, in her own special way,  “I love you!” She always wanted to hold my hand a little bit longer when it came time to leave her house. I’m so thankful to have shared a few special moments with her. She is greatly missed and will always have a special place in my heart. 

Isn’t she the CUTEST and the coolest?! 😎  Gramma always had to have her sunglasses on! Lollipops🍭, sunglasses🕶 , and me... just a few of her favorite things! 😉 

Such fond memories of Grandma Minnie...  While I'm pretty sure she had a few of those "not so good days" in her lifetime she never showed it and always had a sweet and caring disposition.  I love you Grandma Minnie... you will be missed!

Gramma Minnie was and will always be my most favorite person. She is already sorely missed... that’s an understatement. I know she’s enjoying a lollipop or two in heaven. That’s what comforts me. I know she loved me and she knew I loved her. She didn’t say much, but she expressed her love and kindness through her tender touch and her soft smile. 
Gramma, I miss you more than I could ever express. This pain that I have is only for a season. I know that I will see you again.
