Phillip Gerald Naas

Phillip Gerald Naas, (“Phil”) loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on May 12, 2025. Phillip was 67 years old and resided in Golden, CO.

Phil was born on June 18, 1957, in Winona, Minnesota to Phillip and Germaine Naas. He was the youngest of his siblings, Cheryl and Paula. Phil attended his school years in Golden, Colorado and Graduated from Golden High School in 1975.

Shortly after graduating from high school, he went to work at Coors Brewery. He was a loyal and hardworking employee and spent Forty-four and a half years working with Coors. Phil retired from Coors in December of 2022.

Phil had many lifelong friends and was known to be a kind soul. He loved animals, nature, motorcycles and boats. In his younger years he enjoyed motorcycle racing and won many races. Phil loved his family and spent time with his sisters, and their families’, and enjoyed attending family reunions.

Phil Married Linda Swartz in 1991. They were married for 20 years and enjoyed traveling and adventuring together. They also enjoyed their home and loving dogs and cats. Phil and Linda divorced in 2012, and Linda passed away in 2013.

Phil is survived by his sister, Paula Gilbert, his brother-in-law, Bob Scharp, and his niece Paula Engler, and many cousins in Colorado and Minnesota. Phil is predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Germaine Nass, his sister, Cheryl Scharp, and his nephew, Jacob Scharp.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Phil on September 8 at 11:00 am. It will be held at Ollinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Pavillion of Reflection, Wheat Ridge, CO. It is located at 7777 W 29th Ave. Wheat Ridge CO 80033.
