

Rex is survived by his devoted wife, Michele, and their children, Lauren and Nicholas. His legacy will also live on through his siblings Jeffrey, Karen, John, and Richard, as well as his sisters-in-law Anita, Julie, and Joyclyn. Rex was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and LaVerne Aemmer.
Through his life, Rex had a passion for doing what was right for others. He served his community as a firefighter and EMT. In his career, he earned a Six Sigma Green Belt, numerous certifications for safety, and helped found a first responder group at the Caterpillar Distribution Center in Denver.
An avid outdoorsman, Rex found joy in hunting and fishing, often sharing stories of his adventures. His passion for reading spanned various genres, providing him with vast knowledge and insights, which he enjoyed sharing with others. Rex also had a profound ability to tinker with cars and motorcycles, a skill that he honed over many years, making him the go-to person for family and friends needing vehicle repairs.
Rex’s kindness, wisdom, and the joy he brought to others will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family and friends will continue to honor his memory by embracing the passions that brought him so much happiness throughout his life.
