She was preceded in death by her husband, Celedon Vigil; son, Steven Vigil; brother, Arthur Nieto; sisters, Mary Jane Duran and Annie Barela.
Rita is survived by her daughters, Beverly (Ernest) Ojeda and Linda (John) Reffel; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Rose Garcia.
Visitation Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 5-6pm with Rosary following at 6pm, at Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2pm, Friday, May 15, 2015, at St. Anthony of Padua, 3801 W. Ohio, Denver, CO 80219.
